Teresa Bonner

Principal

Teresa Bonner brings 30+ years of experience in philanthropy, foundation and nonprofit management to FPA clients.  Before joining FPA, Teresa headed the U.S. Bancorp Foundation, the Piper Jaffray Foundation, and two nonprofit organizations, Milkweed Editions and the Library Foundation of Hennepin County. Prior to that, she was a partner in the Minneapolis law firm of Lindquist & Vennum.

Ellen George

Principal

Ellen George has 20+ years of experience in philanthropy, foundation and wealth management. Before joining FPA in 1999, Ellen was a Client Advisor at a wealth management firm providing integrated financial and philanthropic services to families. Ellen notes that “I have been fortunate to work with a number of families and philanthropists, helping them implement their philanthropic goals.  There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the joy on our clients’ faces knowing that they are doing their part in making the world a better place.”

Sarah Drebelbis

Communications and Event Coordinator

Sarah Drebelbis joined Family Philanthropy Advisors in 2019. Sarah’s prior experience has been focused in the arts in Minnesota, serving as a program manager at MacPhail Center for Music and supporting the fundraising efforts at Children’s Theatre Company. Sarah graduated magna cum laude from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor of Music in Music Business. Sarah enjoys playing piano, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors during all four seasons.

    Lindsay Lewis

    Program Officer

    Lindsay joined Family Philanthropy Advisors as Program Manager in 2016. A lifelong artist and arts enthusiast, Lindsay has a background in nonprofit leadership and arts administration. She graduated cum laude from Wellesley College in Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in cognitive science and studio art. Lindsay lives in Minneapolis where she enjoys cooking, throwing a party and exploring the arts scene.

      Suzanne Paki

      Program Associate and Grants Manager

      Suzanne Paki joined Family Philanthropy Advisors in 2003 and has over 10 years of experience in foundation grants management, proposal evaluation, research, operations and program support.  She was previously a Foreign Service Officer for trade policy at the New Zealand Embassy, Washington DC.  Suzanne was also a public policy analyst for the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce and Administration.  Suzanne lives in Minneapolis and enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter.
